Management and staff of Citi TV on Sunday, June 6, 2021, joined the Cedar Mountain Chapel at Shiashie to climax the celebration of the station’s 3rd anniversary.
It was a moment of praise and thanksgiving as the team expressed their appreciation to God for how far he has brought the company.
The guest preacher for the day, General Manager and Host of the Citi Breakfast Show, Bernard Avle, who doubles as the General Manager of Citi FM/Citi TV, stressed the need to depend on God for vision to live one’s life.
He also advised people to take time to build capacity before setting out on a project.
Mr. Avle also stressed the fact that it takes more than knowledge to execute a task or complete a project, indicating that wisdom must be applied to be able to successfully complete tasks one has been assigned to.
“So the call is to start from inside. He builds from inside out. So young man, don’t be in a hurry to buy that car. Don’t be in a hurry to take that loan. Spend time developing yourself, spend time developing your mind, spend time developing your prayer life, spend time developing discipline, and spend time controlling your appetite because where God is taking you when you fall, many will fall with you,” he said.
The station’s resident pastors subsequently took turns to pray for the company, its management, and staff for wisdom and guidance to enable it to continue to make an impact in Ghana and beyond.
The church service was led by the Host pastor of the church, who’s also one of the station’s resident pastors, Rev. Stephen Y. Wengam.
Rev. Wengam thanked the leadership of the station for the support given to the church, and expressed satisfaction with the growth and progress so far, praying that the station continues to do more exploits.
Citi TV has since its inception carried out its activities on strong Christian values and principles.
Managing Director of Citi FM, Samuel Attah-Mensah, in a short exhortation, expressed his appreciation to all persons who have in various ways contributed to the realization of the Citi TV vision, and those who keep supporting the station.
