Sarkodie has admitted that the biggest musical feat chalked in Ghana in the last decade was Beyoncé featuring Shatta wale on her Lion King album.
Sarkodie stated that the feature was so big that it could have exposed a lot of musicians to the international market but Ghanaians swept it under the carpet.
King Sark said the pull him down behavior of Ghanaians have been hurting the entertainment industry for far too long.
He told stories of how Nigerians choose to highlight and project only positive images of their entertainers in the media and bash them in private but its vice versa in Ghana.
Sarkodie added that Ghanaians could have just praised Shatta Wale and pushed the project but instead they found faults in the song and talked about it on both social and traditional media.
Using himself as an example, Sarkodie said he has lost valuable relationships because of the negative topics social media users decided to discuss about his works with international musicians.
He took the opportunity to address a tweet his fan made when American rapper Wale featured on his No Pressure Album.
The tweep disrespectfully wrote that it was Sarkodie who gave Wale a career and according to Sark, he felt bad seeing that tweet and had no option but to bring that fan to order.
The multiple award winning rapper, who has began a radio tour for his No Pressure Album, made this statement in a recent interview on Hitz Fm.
