Some journalists and media houses were chased away by participants of the #FixTheCountry Movement during its much-touted demonstration on Wednesday, August 4.
The participants claim these media houses misrepresented the crowd that had gathered for the demonstration with several accusations of spreading falsehood about the movement.
This marred the otherwise peaceful demonstration which attracted thousands to the Obra Spot at Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra.
GBC’s Nathaniel Nartey who was with the demonstrators reports that the daughter of the late Ibrahim Mohammed alias ‘Kaaka’, who was a member of the fix the country movement, also criticized the media for the unfair treatment since the death of her father.
