President Akufo-Addo has inaugurated an ultra-modern court building at Kintampo in the Kintampo North Municipality of Bono East, as part of his two-day working tour of the region.
The President expressed the hope that the facility will be maintained to promote justice and fairness to sustain peace in the area.
He reiterated his government’s commitment to improve the welfare of Ghanaians. This is being done through proactive and efficient implementation of pragmatic policies and programmes for the benefit of all Ghanaians.
In response to requests earlier made by the chiefs about the provision of some social amenities like road networks, health and education facilities, the President said the sector ministries will be tasked to address those concerns.
Nana Adjei Adinkra of the Mo Traditional area, on behalf of the traditional authorities in the Municipality appealed to President Akufo-Addo to assist the Judicial Service to upgrade the Court to a High Court and also elevate the Kintampo Municipal Government Hospital to a teaching hospital.
