Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, known as Sarkodie has opened up on a possible collaboration that will be the biggest in the music history of Africa.
This collaboration is with no other person than American rap icon and business mogul, Jay Z–does Sarkodie mentioning the name ring a bell?
Before Sarkodie dropped his No Pressure Album, rumors went up that the rapper was featuring someone bigger than Jay Z on that album.
The album came out and it featured American rappers Wale and Vic Mensa (who is signed to Jay Z’s record label), there was no one bigger than Jay Z on the project.
Possie Gee, the producer who sparked the rumor confirmed in an interview on Showbiz Zone in Koforidua that he can vow that Sarkodie has recorded a song with a big artiste because he was in the studio with them.
Sarkodie however rubbished the claims on his radio tour in Ghana saying he never asked Possie Gee to circulate that information.
King Sark was asked the same question on a Kenyan radio show and he happily gave out all the information he was trying to hide.
A Kenyan radio presenter asked Sarkodie to mention some of the top rappers in the world he would want to collaborate with on a song.
Sarkodie quickly mentioned that Jay Z must definitely top the list of rappers he would want to collaborate with.
According to Sark, Hover happens to be one of the most successful and influential rappers in the world and a collaboration with him is definitely on his bucket list
Sarkodie added that he is well aware the Roc Nation president is not in active music because of his venture into other businesses but he believes that a collaboration with him will make waves in the world.
