AMG Medikal Jumps On Davido Trend and Sends Him $1,000 – OBO Responds

Ghanaian rapper AMG Medikal has become the first from this side of West Africa to join the crazy money sending challenge Davido has thrown to his friends.

Yesterday, Davido tasked his friends, fans and musicians he has featured to send him money. He opened a bank account to receive the gifts and raised over 80 million Naira in a blink of an hour.

After a successful Nigerian rave, Davido went live on social media again to mention some Ghanaian musicians he has worked with an asked them to also send him money.

The rich artiste mentioned Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Edem, Medikal and Darko Vibes and told them to forward their cash because he has been able to give them hit songs.

After calling the Ghanaian musicians out, Medikal forwarded $1000 (411,830.00 Nigerian Naira) to register his name as the first from Ghana to join Davido’s crazy game.

Davido acknowledged receipt and sowed the world via social media. He wrote, “First Alert from Ghana @amgmedikal”.

Nothing comes for free in Ghana and so Medikal also took to the same medium to tell Davido that as he has sent him a $1000, he is going to request a brand new car when celebrating his birthday.

OBO @davido my birthday na car I want o bless u my g” Medikal wrote in reaction to Davido’s post.

As it stands, Davido has raised over N140 million from friends and fans with a challenge which started as a joke online.

He aims at raising over N200 million before his 28th birthday which is on November 21, 2021. With the way at which people are sending in their cash, he might have an overflow.

Some of the known names that have sent Davido money includes, billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola and billionaire socialite, Obi Iyiegbu a.k.a Obi Cubana, Oyo State House of Representatives member Akin Alabi, businessman and socialite, Emeka Okonkwo aka E-money.

Other celebrities are, Adekunle Gold, Chike, Zlatan and now Medikal.
