Stan Dogbe, a special assistant for former President John Dramani Mahama has presented laptops to the three representatives of the Keta Secondary Technical School for qualifying to the grand finale of the 2021 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz.
Mr Dogbe who is also an old student of Ketasco said the donation is meant to celebrate them for the work done so far.
Ketasco qualified to the finals of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) for the first time in the history of the competition and was also the first SHS in the Volta region to have qualified to the finals of the NSMQ competition.
During the semi final stage on Tuesday November 23, Keta SHTS had 51 points, Wesley Girls’ High School had 35points and Tamale SHS 31points.
They will be meeting six-time champions, Presbyterian Boys Secondary School (PRESEC) and four-time champions, Prempeh College in the final.
