“Since Independence, public officials are donated cash for their imprest when they travel. This system has many related difficulties including the risks of carrying cash, extortion in the issuance of imprest, the increasing use of cashless income channels in many jurisdictions, inadequate monitoring, and management, etc.
The Reason: e-Travel Card will lessen the cashless issuance of travel allowance and other payments for local and foreign trips of public officials.
“All officeholders will be handed out with the e-Travel card and their imprest and per day for travel will automatically be put on the card for use”. He implied. “The e-Travel Card is foreseen to deliver many benefits, including the delimit of the threat of carrying cash; clearness and ease of accountability; precise retirement of beholden Imprest; and enhanced monitoring and management of budgetary fundings for official travels to avoid overspending”.
In a summary, he believes the era of cashless will be put to a stop for a better and secure accountability.
