“The Black Stars Of Ghana Got Only $20,000 From The AFCON”; Henry Asante-Twum Argues

Communications Director for the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante-Twum, has disclosed that the Black Stars players who reached for the just-ended 2021 AFCON in Cameroon, acquired $20,000 each as an appearance fee.

He complained that some players of different nationwide teams got more, alleging Gabon compensated each player $60,000.

“Black Stars players didn’t get any bonus because they didn’t win a game but they got $20,000 each as appearance fee. Other countries paid more. Gabon took $60,000”
