Pochettino to become Man Utd’s next permanent manager on one condition

Mauricio Pochettino, the manager of Paris Saint-Germain, has agreed to become Manchester United’s next permanent manager on one condition.

Manchester United must persuade Pochettino that he is the best candidate to succeed interim manager Ralf Rangnick in the summer, according to the Daily Mail.

Following PSG’s Champions League elimination a few days ago, Pochettino’s future at the club appears to be in serious doubt.

PSG were defeated 3-1 against Real Madrid in the Champions League round of 16 second-leg tie, thanks to Karim Benzema’s hat-trick.

Man United have long admired Pochettino, but the Red Devils are also considering Ajax’s Erik ten Hag and Real Madrid’s Carlo Ancelotti ahead of a key appointment at the end of the season.

Having been overlooked in the past for the Man United job, Pochettino now wants assurances from the club’s board to see him as the man capable of bringing the glory days back to Old Trafford.
