The South American flier was outstanding at times today and has quickly become a fan favorite. His unpredictable nature, ball movement, and ability to confront defenders were all on display today.
He scored one goal, could have had more, could have been more efficiently fed and was a creative force throughout. He’s starting to cause havoc and terror among opposing players, and he could be Liverpool’s most impressive player since his arrival.
The way he took his goal was gutsy and incredibly incisive, with the run perfectly timed. In a time when there is so much uncertainty around one forward, we can all be quite optimistic about one Luis Diaz’s future.
