The EPA has given the go-ahead for the construction of an aviation site at Kwahu, according to reports reaching ghnewsfile.com on this day.
The Eastern Region’s Kwahu Airport Limited has been granted permission to construct an airport.
The airport will be built near Nkwantang-Chinese in the Kwahu East District, according to the Environmental Protection Agency license.
The license will be up for renewal on September 9, 2023. The runway at this airport is expected to be four kilometers long.
When finished, the airport is expected to boost trade by making it simpler to transport goods from northern Ghana.
