The Nou Camp will be renamed as Spotify reach an agreement on a multi-year partnership.

Barcelona’s stadium will be renamed the Spotify Camp Nou following a multi-year partnership between the La Liga club and audio streaming service Spotify.

The agreement, which is subject to approval by the club’s Extraordinary Delegate Members Assembly, will take effect in July.

The name of the Swedish company will also be printed on the front of the men’s and women’s team shirts and training kits.

Barcelona stated that the stadium’s rights agreement would “continue throughout the ambitious redevelopment of the Camp Nou site.”

The team shirt deal will begin in the 2022-23 season and will last “for the next four seasons,” according to the club.

It will be the first time that the name of a sponsor has been included in the title of Barcelona’s stadium.

According to Catalan radio station Rac1, the deal with Spotify is worth 280 million euros (£235 million).

Barcelona described the agreement as a “first of its kind” for the club, stating that the collaboration would aim to bring “the worlds of music and football together.”

Spotify founder Daniel Ek made an offer to buy Premier League club Arsenal last year, which was supported by former Gunners legends Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, and Patrick Vieira.
