Kelvynboy, an Afrobeats star, has been arrested for the second time this year.
His re-arrest stems from allegations of abuse against his baby mama, with whom he has two children.
The Adentan Circuit Court 2, presided over by Sedinam Awo Balokah, granted the singer, known in real life as Kelvyn Brown, a 200,000 bail on February 22.
He was due to appear in court again on March 18.
The case was dismissed at the second hearing due to a lack of evidence.
Meanwhile, the prosecutor has presented the judge with new allegations, alleging that Kelvynboy assaulted his alleged baby mama again after being granted bail in February.
Mrs. Balokah, the judge, adjourned the hearing after learning of the new allegations without an official filing of the case.
Finally, the singer, who was seen walking towards his team’s car, was apprehended again.
Kelvynboy has yet to appear in court on the new charges, leaving it up to the police to decide whether or not to grant him police inquiry bail.
The singer of “Down Flat” could spend the weekend in police custody before being arraigned on Monday.
