Ghana’s strength is in their midfield; Agyemang Badu Claims

Before Friday’s 2022 World Cup qualifying playoffs against Nigeria in Kumasi, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu stated that the Black Stars’ strength is in midfield.

The first leg will be played at Kumasi’s Baba Yara Stadium, with the second leg taking place four days later in Abuja on Tuesday, March 29th.

Badu said this during an interview with a Ghanaian journalist named Yaw at Kumasi Airport, which was published on the latter’s Twitter account.

“This is a big game. Our midfield is our strongest point. Partey is fantastic, as is Kudus, and Joseph Paintsil is lightning fast. We’ll win if Kofi Kyereh has a good day as well.”

The Super Eagles arrived in Ghana today and traveled to Kumasi in preparation for the 2022 World Cup qualifying playoffs on Friday. Ghana’s Black Stars arrived in Kumasi on Tuesday.
