Elon Musk has just taken his Twitter journey to the next level, offering to buy the entire company for, oh, $41 billion.

In a 13D regulatory filing, Tesla CEO Elon Musk made a “best and final” cash offer of $54.20 per share for the social media behemoth (that represents a 54 percent premium over the closing price on January 28, which is the day before Musk started investing in Twitter).

Musk stated that if his April 13 offer to Twitter is not accepted, he may reconsider his recent investment.
