EPL: Ten Hag identifies player that’ll fix Manchester United’s major problem

Erik ten Hag, the possible new manager of Manchester United, has chosen Ajax winger Antony as the player who will solve the Red Devils’ major problem next season.
According to the Sun, Ten Hag has already examined Man United’s squad in terms of who needs to leave and what areas need to be strengthened ahead of next season, and he has selected the right wing as a priority area.
Ten Hag wants to sign players who are used to his style of play, and Antony would fill a problem position that has been causing Man United problems in recent years.
Man United signed Jadon Sancho from Dortmund last year with the intention of using him on the right wing, but he’s mostly been used on the left, where Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, and Jesse Lingard all prefer to play.
Man United have agreed on personal terms with Ten Hag to take over at the Theatre of Dreams this summer, replacing current temporary manager Ralf Rangnick.
Ten Hag, who is now the coach of Ajax, is poised to sign a three-year contract with Manchester United.
The Dutchman has given his okay for Manchester United to recruit Antony for £50 million at the end of the season.
Meanwhile, Man United have a good relationship with Ajax, having dealt with them for Daley Blind and Donny van de Beek in recent years.
