On April 8, gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu died after allegedly being beaten and molested by her husband, Peter Nwachukwu.

According to Inspector of Police Usman Alkali, Peter Nwachukwu, the late gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu’s husband, will be charged in court as soon as he is proven liable for her death.
According to reports, at midnight, mortuary attendants heard Osinachi perform her well-known gospel song Ekwueme.
As of yet, the husband, Peter Nwachukwu, has denied the allegations of domestic abuse leveled against him.
Despite being indicted, he has yet to be charged.
