Shatta Wale recently made headlines when he chastised Ghanaians for their lax attitude toward supporting Ghanaian artistes across various digital platforms.
In a new post, the head of the ostentatious SM fraternity thanked Nigerians for supporting his music career and streaming his music despite being at odds with them a few months ago.
He stated that Nigerians have come to appreciate his talent, for which he is grateful.
Meanwhile, Shatta Wale has slammed former radio personality and music executive Mark Okraku Mantey, Ghana’s Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, for a recent statement he made about him.
In a radio interview, Mark stated sensationally that he and a group of ‘cabals’ blacklisted Shatta Wale on Hits FM for his disrespectful personality and pushed Stonebwoy at his expense to teach him a lesson.
Mark Okraku Mantey of HITZ FM said Shatta Wale refused an interview the station had sent out to him, so he decided to blacklist him.
“Shatta wale was impolite. We invited him for an interview, but he declined, so we decided to blacklist him.
As a result, we decided to back Stonebwoy and make him a hero because he was not rude. “So I decided to play a lot of Stonebwoy songs,” he explained.
As expected, Wale pounced on his official Facebook page with a response, deepening the intriguing conversation Mark sparked
