“We need to work out some details with the GFA [Ghana Football Association] and Dortmund to see if I can continue [coaching the Black Stars] for the Afcon 2023 qualifiers,” Otto Addo was quoted as saying by 3 Sports.

“As for me, I’m ready [for the Black Stars], but I have a contract with Dortmund that I need to clear before I can go any further.”

“I’m meeting with my bosses [Dortmund] to talk about the Black Stars job and the possibility of staying with them.” Sure, [I’m willing to work for Black Stars], but we need to talk about the contract.

“I have a good relationship with Dortmund, so I’m hoping they’ll let me continue to coach the Black Stars.” Hopefully, I’ll be able to work with both Dortmund and the Black Stars at the same time.”

Meanwhile, Ghana will host Madagascar on May 30 for the 2023 Afcon qualifiers before traveling to face the Central African Republic on June 14.

Three months later, the Black Stars return to action against Angola at home on September 19, followed by the rematch on September 27.
