Kweku Flick Respond To Claims Of Copying Black Sherif’s Style In His New Song [Video]

Andy Osei Sarfo, better known in the music industry as Kweku Flick, has responded to accusations made by certain social media users that he is attempting to emulate Black Sherif’s style in his new song “Ewiase.”

Before the song’s release, Kweku Flick teased his followers with a short video of himself on his social media page, teasing them with parts of the song’s melodies and lyrics. The intensity and style with which he delivered the freestyle elicited conflicting reviews on social media.

It was assumed that the singer wants to mimic Black Sherif’s style, possibly after understanding that the latter’s type of music is currently the new thing in the music market and is selling well.

Kweku Flick revealed in an interview with a blogger Boateng Ameyaw that he had no problem with the connection established between him and Blacko.

He said that he had the idea to record his “Ewiase” song in 2021 while in the UK, and that as soon as he landed in Ghana, he recorded it even before Black Sherif arrived with his aggressive style.

However, as long as his song is going viral, he has no concern with people’s perceptions of his new approach.
