In a dubious tweet, Tanzanian musician Nasibu Abdul Juma Issack, better known as Diamond Platnumz, ridiculed Grammy winners Wizkid and Burna Boy.
Taking to social media, the musician hinted at how he became the first sub-Saharan artist to reach 1 billion video views in 2020 by blowing his trumpet.
He went on to mock Burna Boy and Wizkid, claiming that foreign artists were to blame for their success in the music industry. He said that Drake helped Wizkid, while P-Diddy (an American rapper) mentored and promoted Burna Boy.
In his words: “In 2020, he became the first Sub-saharan artist with more than 1 billion video views, leaping ahead of such stars as Davido, Drake-boosted Wizkid and P-Diddy protege Burna Boy”
