FDA Shuts Down Marwako Restaurant Following An Alleged Food Poisoning

The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has reportedly closed down Marwako restaurant following an alleged food poisoning, Ghnewsfile reports.

Ghanaians dragged the popular restaurant over alleged food poisoning following the admission of over 70 people at Nyaho Clinic in Accra.

According to customers, they started feeling some discomfort after consuming foods bought at the restaurant. One Edward who is a victim of this alleged food poisoning brought this to limelight.

He said the clinic had admitted over 70 patient’s who are all victims of the alleged Marwako food poisoning. This lead to other people who had fell victims coming out.

In response to this, the FDA has taken notice of complaints from the public and have closed down the restaurant, together with other relevant agencies.

According to the FDA, they have started their investigations into the matter and will alert the general public once investigatons are over.
