PSG identify Mbappe’s replacement

According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain have identified Darwin Nunez of Benfica as a possible replacement for Kylian Mbappe if the France international decides to leave Le Parc des Princes at the end of the season.
PSG could sign Primeira Liga’s top scorer as Mbappe’s replacement if he leaves Paris as a free agent in June.
Mbappe, who leads Ligue 1 with 24 goals in 2021-22, will be out of contract in June.
The 23-year-old is yet to sign a new contract with PSG.
He is widely expected to leave the French Ligue 1 champions for Real Madrid this summer.
Nunez, who has attracted interest from top European clubs, is reportedly PSG’s first choice to replace Mbappe, according to the aforementioned report.
In only 28 appearances in the Portuguese top flight, the Uruguayan forward has shown serious pace, finesse, and lethal finishing.
PSG has the option of activating his €150 million release clause, which would put them ahead of the competition.
