Aliko Dangote‘s fortunes are set to soar in 2022, after he jumped 48 places in four months to become the 68th wealthiest billionaire alive.

According to Bloomberg, Dangote amassed $27.7 million (N11.4 billion) on Thursday, May 5, 2022, and is now worth $20.7 billion.

According to the report, Dangote has earned $1.62 billion since the beginning of 2022, making him one of the few billionaires to have a positive Thursday.

According to Nairametrics, hundreds of billions of dollars in market value were whipped out of US stock, causing some of the world’s wealthiest men to lose their fortunes.

In fact, only 26 of the 100 billionaires on the Bloomberg list made money.

For many years, Gates was the world’s richest man. According to recent data, his wealth valuation fell by $2.68 billion for the day, bringing his total wealth to $125 billion.
