Snake bites testicles of level 300 student at Assin Fosu College

A level 300 student at the Assin Fosu College of Education (FOSCO) in the Central region is recovering in hospital after a snake bit his testicles while he was using the toilet.
According to reports, the young man stood up after feeling a pinch in his testicles, only to find the snake curled up when he went to the toilet.
Alfred Amoh, a colleague of the victim, said his friend was struck by a non-venomous snake while attending nature’s call in an abandoned toilet facility on campus.
He told Accra-based Adom FM that, despite the provision of a modern toilet facility in the school, some students chose to use the ancient latrine.
He claimed they heard the victim’s cries for help and took him to Assin Fosu’s St. Francis Hospital.
According to Inusah Mohammad, a tutor at the school who confirmed the event, the victim is responding to treatment.
