Parts of Accra flooded following Saturday’s heavy rainfall

Parts of Accra were flooded following the heavy downpour in the hours of Saturday May 14.

Following hours of heavy rain yesterday, parts of Kaneshie in Accra and Tema were reportedly flooded.

“Cloudiness is expected over most parts of the country this morning with pockets of rain over southern Ghana,” the Ghana Meteorological Agency said in a statement released early Saturday morning.

“Breaks of sunshine will be experienced later. Afternoon to evening rains are expected over parts of the middle and northern sectors.” the statement added.
