Rochas Okorocha, a former governor of Imo State in Nigeria, has reportedly been arrested by the Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
This comes after hours of siege to his Maitama residence in Abuja, earlier on today Tuesday, May 24.
According to reports, he was whisked away by EFCC operatives, who shoot sporadically to disperse a crowd of supporters who had come to show solidarity with the Imo Senator.
Close source in the EFCC revealed to Vanguard that, Rochas Okorocha, who is a presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress may remain with the commission till May 30.
