Liverpool fan who refused to cash out on a £367,200 quadruple bet has been compensated.

Thanks to Dimitar Berbatov, a Liverpool fan who refused to take numerous costly cash-out offers on a wager for the Reds to win the quadruple has now been paid up.

Tanya Hanley has made waves after putting her first-ever bet on Liverpool to win all four major trophies available at odds of 3,671.

Tanya “just had a feeling they were going to do it” and put £100 on a slip because she “just had a feeling they were going to do it.”

She would have won a massive £367,200 if Jurgen Klopp’s side had managed to pull off the incredible feat.

Thanks to Dimitar Berbatov, a Liverpool fan who refused to cash out on a £367,200 quadruple bet has been compensated.

Tanya was offered two cash-out offers before the dramatic Premier League season finale, rejecting £22,712 and then turning away £35,000 just 30 minutes before kick-off.

Then, with Manchester City losing 1-0 to Aston Villa and Liverpool drawing 1-1 with Wolves, a sum of £62,371 was presented at halftime.

That was turned down, as was a huge £95,000 offer with 20 minutes to go, just seconds after former Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho had increased Villa’s advantage at the Etihad Stadium.

Tanya stuck to her guns, but City scored three goals in five minutes to win the Premier League for the fourth time in five seasons and kill Liverpool’s quadruple hope.

Berbatov, who once scored a hat-trick for Manchester United against Liverpool, rushed in and saved her.

With the scenario heading to ‘VAR-Batov,’ the Bulgarian believed it was only fair that Tanya receives the full amount of the final cash-out offer.

The Betfair ambassador stated, “I noticed the story about Tanya the Liverpool supporter.”

“I’ve been speaking with Betfair, and the final Cash Out offer was £1,125 in the 92nd minute.”

“Given how close Liverpool came and how unbelievable that bet was, it’s only right that they give her the final offer!”

Tanya will now have a decent sum to spend on a vacation she had planned.

If Liverpool beat Real Madrid in Saturday’s Champions League final in Paris, they can still win the triple.

After overcoming Chelsea on penalties at Wembley, the six-time European winners won both the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup.
