Barcelona: Top star tells Xavi he wants to leave Camp Nou for new club

Barcelona star, Ousmane Dembele, has reportedly informed the club’s coaches, including Xavi, that he will not continue at the Catalan club as he does not agree with the terms of the renewal.

Dembele told the technicians, according to AS, that he had not accepted Barcelona’s final offer and that he planned to leave the Camp Nou on June 30.

According to the report, the 25-year-old’s new club will be French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Dembele’s contract with Barcelona is set to expire in the summer, with Barcelona stating that there is a “95% chance” he will not be re-signed.

Dembele had a renewal offer from Barcelona on the table, but his agent thought it was insufficient.

And recent events have made it clear that the French winger will not continue at Barcelona.

Kylian Mbappe, Dembele’s France teammate who recently signed a new three-year contract with PSG, is said to have advised the Parisians hierarchy to sign the former Dortmund star.
