Many people have had to resort to any means to survive due to the high cost of food in all sections of the country.
While some are working extra jobs, others are sleeping with men and women to supplement their income in order to endure Ghana’s economic crisis.
In response to this new trend, Hon. Sam Nartey George, member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, has advised Ghanaians to start eating a lot of “Gob3,” also known as gari and beans, in order to survive.
Sam George devised the 0-1-0 strategy, which states that if you want to survive these difficult times, you must forgo breakfast and eat just noon.
To help the lunch last longer in the stomach, he suggested cooking beans with a lot of cassava flakes (gari).
According to him, this new technique will ensure that you are not constantly hungry while attempting to survive.
Ghanaians have complained to the government on multiple occasions about the high cost of products and services in the country, but their complaints appear to have fallen on deaf ears.
