Team Roberto Carlos defeats Team Ronaldinho in Miami, with Vincius Jr and Pogba shining.
The stars were in Miami, Florida, for a historic exhibition game against the Miami Heat.
Ronaldinho Gaucho and Roberto Carlos, two Brazilian football legends, competed in an exhibition match titled ‘The Beautiful Game.’
The exhibition was held at the DRV PNK Stadium, home of Major League Soccer (MLS) giants Inter Miami.
The game featured some of the game’s legends as well as some of the current crop of superstars.
Roberto Carlos vs. Ronaldinho
In the early hours of Sunday, June 19, two teams competed, one for Ronaldinho and the other for Roberto Carlos.
Ronaldinho’s team wore gold, while Roberto Carlos’ team wore blue.
The two teams wore the Brazilian national team’s primary colors. There was a lot of Brazilian support at the game.
“I’m enjoying this wonderful opportunity that these football legends have given me,” Nani said of the game. It’s an honor to be here and present the pitch to them.
“As a result, I am only thinking about what is happening right now because it is a special moment that I am definitely enjoying.”
Roberto Carlos was also pleased with the game, saying, “To play with them was the best.”
“To be able to reunite the friends, the players you always see on TV, to bring them here – which was difficult because each player has their own schedule, some on vacation, others thinking about their contracts.
“We’ve been asking them to join us for a while now, and we’ve gotten the majority of them. It’s been fantastic.
“A packed stadium to see Ronaldinho, Mariano, Vinicius [Jr.], [Eder] Militao, and others. That is well worth it.”
Sébastien Frey, Roberto Carlos, Cafu, Éder Milito, Arturo Vidal, Hristo Stoichkov, Rivaldo Denis Zakaria, and others make up TEAM ROBERTO CARLOS.
Radamel Falcao, Nani, David Trezeguet, Ivan Zamorano, and Mariano -Steve Nash are among the others.
Rafa Marquez, Diego Lugano, Ronaldinho, Deco, Paulo Dybala, Paul Pogba, and Blaise Matuidi are members of TEAM RONALDINHO.
Ryan Babel, Vinicius Jr., Patrick Kluivert, and Jimmy Butler are among the others.
