Sadio Mane of Senegal is set to become Africa’s highest-paid footballer, surpassing Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah and Manchester City’s Riyad Mahrez.

Mane, 30, will join Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich next summer after a £31.5 million buyout clause was met.

Mane, who will travel to Germany tomorrow for medical tests, has agreed to join Bayern on a three-year contract.

Bayern will pay €32m guaranteed fee for Sadio Mané. Contract already set to be signed, valid until June 2025. Liverpool wanted to sign Nunez in order to approve Sadio’s departure. 🚨🤝 #LFC
