“I Was Not Given A Dime Not Even A Seat” – Sonnie Badu Exposes Organizers Of Nat’l Cathedral
Sonnie Badu, a gospel musician, has finally spoken out about the rumored $50,000 payment for a 15-second performance at the National Cathedral Fundraising campaign in the United States.
Sonnie Badu was paid $50,000 after performing in the campaign in February 2019, according to reports.
Sonnie Badu made the announcement after a Twitter user inquired if he took the money that the organizers claimed to have given him.
The fan tweeted, “I’m sure the handlers of @SonnieBaduuk will alert him to clear the air whether he allegedly took $50,000 for singing 5mins 15 seconds at the launch of Ghana National Cathedral in the USA”
Responding to the tweet, Sonnie Badu denied ever receiving such an amount. According to him, he was not given a dime, and also, he was not given any seat during the event. He was kept outside.
“Wow, thanks for alerting me, I was not given a dime .. not even a seat for me and my team, We stood outside..”, he said.
