Johnny Depp To Rejoin Pirates Of The Caribbean On $301m Deal After Amber Heard Victory

Johnny Depp, a well-known American actor and producer, is reportedly being paid more than $300 million to return to “Pirates of the Caribbean” after being fired from the series in 2018 following abuse allegations made by his ex-girlfriend Amber Heard.

The shocking information, according to reports, was revealed in a recent interview with Poptopic, an Australian publication.

The multiple award winner was pulled from the sixth and final part of the “Pirate” film following Heard’s 2018 Washington Post op-ed, which Depp claimed wrongly accused him of being a domestic abuser.
As a result, the 59-year-old reportedly lost a whopping $22.5 million paycheck.

Over the last 15 years, Johnny Depp has played the dashing buccaneer in five “Pirates” movies.

However, following his well-publicized defamation court victory earlier this month, it appears that the House of Mouse may be willing to recast Depp in the iconic role.

According to the source, Depp would reportedly “return as Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean 6 and a spin-off Disney Plus series on the early life of the Captain of The Black Pearl” as part of the purported comeback deal, which is supposedly worth a cool $301 million.
