Male tourist ‘raped by two men’ while on holiday in Spain

According to reports, an Irish tourist told Spanish authorities that he was raped by two men while on vacation in Spain.

The 28-year-old man reportedly told detectives that he was attacked on the last night of his vacation in Valencia after agreeing to go for a walk with two men he met in the lively city neighborhood of El Carmen.

They persuaded him to leave a party he was attending with a friend.

According to local reports, two men ‘of Arabic origin with a French accent’ then ripped the tourist’s clothes off and sexually assaulted him on an old riverbed.

According to the report, the vacationer told officers that his clothes were ripped from him before he was forced to have sex during the stroll.

According to the same report, during an examination, a doctor at Valencia’s La Fe Hospital discovered injuries consistent with a rape.

Two men “of Arabic origin with a French accent” who spoke only a few words of English are being wanted by police.
