Why I slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars – Will Smith finally discloses
Will Smith, an American actor and comedian, has finally addressed his Oscars slap on Chris Rock on camera for the first time.
Will Smith claims that he is really ashamed and sorry for his regrettable deed.
The well-known actor apologized for his actions on Facebook by responding to fan inquiries regarding the infamous incident that stunned millions of people.
Will Smith claims he did the unthinkable because he found the joke to be offensive and disrespectful, but he clarified that he didn’t go crazy because Jada Pinkett Smith rolled her eyes at Rock’s joke.
Will Smith also disclosed that there was no doubt a bad history between him and Chris Rock.
He added that he has experienced stress mostly as a result of failing his followers and other people.
“I didn’t live up to people’s image and impression of me” Remorseful Will Smith disclosed.
However, he disclosed that he didn’t apologize to Chris Rock because when he reached out to he showed clearly he wasn’t ready to talk to him but he apologized in the video.
“I am human and I made a mistake and I’m trying not to think of myself as a piece of s***t.”
