The Ghana Premier League has officially named Mr. Eazi’s company, betPawa, as its new title sponsor.

This information was made public during the official contract ceremony, which took place on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at the headquarters of Ghana’s football.

Kurt Okraku, the president of the GFA, and Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, commonly known as Mr. Eazi, betPawa’s largest shareholder, were both present at the ceremony along with other stakeholders.

The artist and other GFA representatives signed the agreement, which has a three-year term and a US$6 million value.

This is the first title sponsor for the top League in seven years.

According to sources, a total of US$ 2 million will be committed over the course of three seasons to the promotion of the Ghana Premier League.

According to the GFA, each of the 18 Premier League clubs will receive a portion of the sponsorship money obtained through the partnership with betPawa.

A winning bonus package for each player and technical staff of a winning club in the Ghana Premier League will also be implemented by the GFA under the name “Locker-room Bonuses.”

Immediately following the game, the funds will be deposited to each team member’s account.

A portion of the sponsorship will go toward building the betPawa pitch, an Astro-turf, at the Ghanaian Soccer Center in Prampram. The building work is anticipated to begin in October 2022.
