Ray J has spoken out against a viral meme that likens him to one of Kim Kardashian’s newest items.
On Friday (August 12), Ray J, Kim’s estranged husband Kanye West, and Kim’s recent ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson were depicted in a photo alongside Kim’s new Beats by Dre earphones, which have arrived in a trio of tonal hues.
Upon seeing the meme, Ray J said, “Man Y’all wrong for this one” in his Instagram Story.
Even West Coast artist management Wack 100 seemed to agree with Ray J’s IG Story comments, commenting “WTF” on the No Jumper post featuring the image.
Ray J and Kim Kardashian have a convoluted history, what with them making an estimated $49 million in the 15 years following the disclosure of their private sex film.
Wack 100 manages Ray J, making their relationship even murkier. Last September, Wack appeared on the Bootleg Kev show and claimed he had a second, “more graphic,” version of the sex tape, which ignited a media firestorm.
Although the ties between Ray J and Kanye West are not as strong, the two have been at odds ever since April, when Ye was rumored to have lied about flying to Los Angeles to retrieve a suitcase from the singer and entrepreneur that contained a hard drive containing the entirety of Kim Kardashian’s 2007 sex tape and additional, previously unseen footage.
Ray J, Kanye West, and Pete Davidson all have something in common despite their differences: they were all exes of the SKIMS entrepreneur Kim Kardashian who failed to make her pleased.
Kim K and Ray J called it quits in 2007, and Kim K filed for divorce from Kanye West in February 2021. This month, Kim K and former Saturday Night Live cast member Pete Davidson called it quits after dating for nine months.
There were reportedly problems with long-distance dating and scheduling conflicts that led to the breakup of Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s relationship, as Kim K had previously said about the breakdown of her marriage to Kanye West, as reported by E! News.
