Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s First Public Appearance After Hot Oscar Slap Surfaces Online [Video]

After the Oscars incident, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith made their first public appearance.

On Saturday afternoon, the couple was seen leaving Nobu in Malibu with what appeared to be a handler trailing them.

Will was grinning as he took the lead, leading Jada who was following closely after in casual attire and a cap. In some of these photos, she might have been holding his hand.

When you look closely, you’ll see that she’s holding him by his shirt and allowing him to lead her to their car. They eventually jumped into their car and sped off, Will taking the wheel.

Prior to that, Will gave a spectator who called his name the peace sign, indicating that he was still in a good mood. Will gave an explanation for his behavior that evening, claiming that Jada’s eye roll did not motivate him to storm the stage.

It appears that the Smiths’ and Chris Rock’s long-standing animosity was what precipitated the incident. He made the remark that Chris had been invited to a conversation but had not yet done so and might not in the future.

In the meantime, as is Jada, Will’s getting a move on with his life.
