When Shatta Wale and Wiyaala, his Ghanaian counterpart, performed together, Wiyaala later claimed that his group had prevented her from receiving a citation from the Bronx borough president. Wiyaala later expressed regret to Shatta Wale and urged everyone to put disagreements behind them.
