I was paid GH¢ 25 For my role in “Things We Do For Love” – Actor Adjetey Anang

Ghanaian actor Adjetey Anang, known for his iconic role, revealed that he was paid 25 cedis every episode for his part in the well-known TV program “Things We Do For Love,” which debuted in 1999.

Adjetey Anang played “Pusher,” the main character. He was a cunning hustler who fell for Jackie Appiah. He acknowledged receiving 25 cedis but insisted that at the time, it was a sizable sum of money.

“It was 25 Cedis per episode,” he started. “ That was in 1999.”

“Each episode was 25 Cedis.” That occurred in 1999.”

He stated in a recent interview that because he was young and irresponsible, he could not save any money from his earnings.

According to the actor, “It wasn’t much at all. We were students, after all, so the small amount was fine for us. But back then, being on television was more of a passion.”
