A Player Other Than Asamoah Gyan Deserves a Spot at the 2022 World Cup, Say Ghanaians

Black Stars faithful think Hearts of Oak forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh should be included in coach Otto Addo’s World Cup roster instead of Asamoah Gyan.

The hot striker scored once again Tuesday night for the Black Galaxies in a friendly international match against Qatar.

Fans on social media are demanding he replace renowned forward Asamoah Gyan in the Black Stars squad after he has been on such a hot streak.

Although he hasn’t played since 2021, Asamoah Gyan has made it clear that he wants to play for the Black Stars in the World Cup in Qatar.

Former Black Stars player Daniel Afriyie Barnieh has been in and out of the squad, with his most recent appearance being at the Kirin Cup in Japan.
