Roman Reigns breaks his silence about The Rock using his Easter egg in a popular TV show.
Roman Reigns vs. The Rock is a dream match that every WWE wrestling fan wants to see. The fight between these two stars has been talked about for a long time. And everyone wants to know how the fight between the two cousins from Samoa will end at WrestleMania.
But neither Roman Reigns nor Dwayne Johnson have ever said that they wouldn’t fight each other at WrestleMania. The Rock left WWE for good in 2019, but it’s not unusual for pro wrestlers to come back for “One Last Fight” after leaving WWE.
In the NBC sitcom “Young Rock,” Dwayne Johnson has also hinted at a fight between the two superstars. In one episode, a young Roman Reigns wants to fight Johnson, but The Rock’s character tells him, “The world isn’t ready, and a match that big can only happen at WrestleMania.”
This scene gave wrestling fans a chance to make a dream come true. The TV show Young Rock is based on Dwayne Johnson’s early life. The show is based on a kayfabe reality, like the wrestling world where Dwayne Johnson is running for president while telling an interviewer about his hard childhood.
And recently, Reigns talked about the Easter egg in a podcast for Sports Illustrated.
Young Rock’s Easter egg shows that Roman is in charge.
Reigns gave a humble answer when asked about his dream match with The Rock and if the show’s Easter egg is real.
“Dwayne is putting it out as part of his project, so it must be pretty good. It’s got to be pretty special. I think that just goes to show the clamoring, the buzz for it, the chatter for it, the wishful thinking, is something that he played into within, “Young Rock “, which as you know, with him, everything’s highly strategical. A lot of synergy between everything that he does with the projects that he’s guiding and has in mind. So yeah, I would say just based on that alone, it looks even better than it did last time we spoke.”
Both stars talk about each other with a lot of respect all the time. Even though The Rock and Roman Reigns are both of Samoan descent, they are not related by blood. This is something that the WWE creative team made up. But in real life, neither wrestler thinks twice about calling the other one their cousin. I guess the fact that these two famous people call each other “Uso” doesn’t matter to them.
“The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment” might be able to come back to WWE. Johnson wouldn’t need much time to get ready for his return, since he’s always in great shape.
