Barcelona: Xavi singles out one player after 4-0 win over Valladolid

Robert Lewandowski has been praised by Xavi Hernandez, manager of Barcelona, as a “extraordinary player.”
Lewandowski scored twice in the 4-0 victory over Real Valladolid on Sunday. It was his second consecutive brace. The Barca striker from Poland scored the opening goal and added a shocking backheel in the second half to make it 3-0.
“Lewandowski? I think he’s an extraordinary player. He’s a natural leader and a born worker. He’s an example for the squad,” Xavi told reporters.
“Lewandowski is happy and that’s the most important thing.
“He shows football maturity, he talks to young players.”
Xavi’s men are third on the LaLiga table with seven points from their opening three fixtures.
