Shugatiti, a socialite and model from Ghana who goes by the name Abena Serwaa Frimpong in private, explains why she doesn’t worry about insults and attacks on her personality on social media all the time.
She claims that the lack of love she had from her parents as a child helped her develop a thick skin when it came to criticism and abuse.
“I’m used to that because I didn’t have love growing up. Without my parents, I was an only child. I was surrounded by people, yet there was no true affection. Because I was living with my stepmother, the insults and remarks that will be directed at you every day will be much milder,” Shugatiti said.
