Benni McCarthy, a legendary member of Bafana Bafana, was beaming as Manchester United thrashed rival Arsenal 3-1 on Sunday at Old Trafford.

McCarthy was hired as the first team coach by Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag, with a primary focus on player placement, finishing, and other areas.
United has been scoring goals more frequently since his hiring, and they’ve now won four straight Premier League games.

At Old Trafford, log-leaders Arsenal saw their unbeaten start to the season come to an end as Marcus Rashford scored twice and Antony scored on his debut.
Benni McCarthy was observed at the tunnel after the game giving embraces and high-fives to the players as they made their way to the locker room.
With the win, United moved up to fifth place, two points behind Manchester City and Tottenham, and three points behind the team in first, Arsenal.
Brighton, meanwhile, maintains its position in fourth place after defeating Leicester City by a score of 5-2.
