Police offer a Gh¢100,000 bounty reward for information on the Wa Killers
The Ghana Police Service has offered a reward of 100,000 to anyone with reliable information that leads to the arrest and prosecution of the people who killed people in Wa recently.
It comes after the arrest of one suspect, Kankani Adongo, who is now in jail and helping investigators.
According to a police update from Tuesday, there may be more criminals out there. Because of this, people shouldn’t be afraid to work together and share any information that could help catch the remaining killers.
Many people in the Wa Municipality and Upper West Region are afraid because some security workers have been killed by unknown people in the last few weeks. The most recent murder happened last Friday.
On Friday morning, people found out that another private security guard had gone missing, making it the seventh one in the last five months.
On Sunday, September 18, the police found the body of one of the people who they say was killed on Friday, September 16.
On Sunday, September 18, the 58-year-old security guard’s body was found in a shallow grave on the outskirts of Wa.
