Ex-Barcelona player all set to sign with Real Madrid

During the late 2000s and 2010s, the rivalry between two of the best players of all time, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, managed to catch the attention of fans all over the world, making the rivalry between Real Madrid and Barcelona one of the most intense in all of football.
Although El Clasico’s global profile has taken a hit since both players left their respective La Liga powerhouses, the passion between the two clubs remains as heated as ever among diehard fans.
A tight race for the title is expected between Barcelona and Real Madrid this season, with Barcelona enjoying a resurgence thanks to a blockbuster summer transfer window that saw them add names like Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Jules Kounde, Franck Kessie, Andreas Christensen, Marcos Alonso, and Hector Bellerin.
It’s not often that a player graduates from La Masia and ends up playing for both Real Madrid and Barcelona, but it appears that Gerard Deulofeu is open to the notion.

The former Barça player would accept a transfer to Real Madrid if the Spanish club offered him an offer.
It was stated by Madrid Universal that when asked by Marca if he would be interested in joining Real Madrid, Deulofeu responded:
“If they show up, how can you refuse them?”
Deulofeu
After over a decade in Barcelona’s junior system, Deulofeu was supposed to emerge as a standout player for the senior squad.
Unfortunately, that did not occur, and he eventually transferred to Everton. The Spanish forward signed with Barcelona again, but his second stint in Catalonia did not fare any better.
Deulofeu, once one of the world’s brightest talents in football, has had a bit of a nomadic career at the senior level, but he looks to have found his greatest form at Udinese and is making his imprint in Italian football. That may or may not pique Real Madrid’s interest.
