Ghana is getting a visit from the IMF today, September 26.

From today, September 26, until October 7, an International Monetary Fund (IMF) staff team led by Stéphane Roudet, Mission Chief for Ghana, is expected to visit Accra.

The staff team is supposed to keep talking with the Ghanaian government about policies and changes that could be helped by an IMF loan.

During the visit, the IMF staff will also talk to other important people.

In July, a group of people from the IMF went to Ghana to talk with the government for the first time.

In July, a group of people from the IMF went to Ghana to talk with the government for the first time.

Before this week’s visit, Gerry Rice, the IMF’s Director of Communications, spoke to the media. He said, “We called that mission constructive, it got the ball rolling, and it set the stage for engagement.”

Ghana’s economy needs help from the fund in the form of a $3 billion package.
